Nationwide
Gift Basket Donation Program
Delivers
“Smiles”
To Seniors and Seriously Ill Children
Ramona
resident, Kimberly Yow, recently created a Gift Basket Donation Program that
makes Seniors and Seriously Ill Children smile, forget about their problems
momentarily and feel good that someone is thinking of them.
Kimberly
says “I started the program because I wanted to donate gift baskets to seniors
and seriously ill children and I wanted to donate more than I could on my own.
After brainstorming how I could encourage others to donate, I created the
Gift Basket Donation Program. I
would love to flood senior centers and children’s facilities across the nation
with these gifts and therefore make a lot of people Smile!
I feel that others will want to donate too when they stop and think about
what a small, unexpected gift can mean to someone that is seriously ill,
home-bound, experiencing difficulty or just lonely.”
Kimberly
has special sections on her website titled “Donations for Children” and
“Donations for Seniors”. In
these sections are gift baskets and stuffed animals that are appropriate for
donating to a child or senior center program.
Visitors to the website can order any of these items and have them sent
directly to the
Senior
Center
or Children’s Critical Care Facility of their choice.
(Donations can be shipped anywhere in the 50 United States.)
Gifted
Lady Gift Baskets offers these items at a reduced price to help encourage others
to donate and “Send A Smile” to someone that could use some cheering up.
